This Privacy Policy describes how the Resty app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac
("Resty", "the app", "we") handles your information. Resty helps you find
public places such as playgrounds, water fountains, and restrooms.
The short version: Resty does not collect any personal data.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. The app
does not require you to create an account, does not use advertising, and
does not include third-party analytics or tracking of any kind.
Location
With your permission, Resty uses your device's location solely to show
nearby playgrounds, water fountains, and restrooms and to provide
directions to them. Your location is used on your device for this purpose
only — it is never stored by us or linked to your identity. You can
withdraw location access at any time in your device's Settings; the app
will still work, but nearby search will be limited.
Places You Add or Report
When you add a new place or report a non-existing one, only the
information about the place itself (such as its type and location) is
submitted to our places database. These contributions are anonymous — we
do not attach your name, email, device identifier, or any other personal
information to them.
Maps and Directions
Resty uses Apple's Maps services to display maps and provide directions.
Apple's handling of that data is governed by
Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
Resty is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal
data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and
revise the effective date above.
