SnapToy Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

SnapToy (the “App”) is provided by Bitter, LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what the App does with your information. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don’t require an account, and photos of people are processed entirely on your device.

Photos you capture

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers. The App has no user accounts and includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Device integrity (App Attest)

To protect our service from abuse, the App sends an Apple App Attest token that confirms the request comes from a genuine copy of the App on a real Apple device. This token verifies the app, not you, and is not used to identify or track you.

Subscriptions

Building your own places requires a subscription, purchased and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple provides us with transaction status needed to deliver the subscription, under Apple’s terms.

Service providers

Data retention & security

We do not retain your photos. Operational data needed to run the service — such as an App Attest key reference and short-term usage counts — is kept transiently. All traffic to our server uses HTTPS, and API credentials are held only on our server.

Children

SnapToy is designed to minimize data: images of people are processed on-device and are not collected by us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices

Camera and photo access is requested only when you use those features and can be changed anytime in iOS Settings. You may stop using the App at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
